Research Interests

The foci of my current research include:

  1. Coastal land use and land cover change (including urban areas and coastal wetlands) and its impact on coastal water quality.
  2. Hydrological and biogeochemical cycles under climate change at forests and coastal wetlands.
  3. Resiliency of coastal wetlands to upland change, climate change, sea-level rise, hurricanes, and oil spills.
  4. Species distribution in forest, coastal, and marine ecosystems, including invasive species under changing climate, at multiple spatial scales.
